Where
do I pickup my volunteer shirt?
You will get your
t-shirt one of two ways. If you are
volunteering with an organized group, school, or
company and are apart of a Aid Station, you will
receive your shirt from your Team Captain when you
arrive at your designated location. If you are
not working at pre-selected Aid Station then you will
pick up your t-shirt, Friday night, September 18th,
between 4:00pm and 7:00pm, at the volunteer check-in
station (located at Lake Hefner). If you can't make it Friday, you can come by anytime Saturday.

Where is
volunteer orientation?
There are two
orientations for bike volunteers (both are the
same). The location and time has yet to be
determined.
Contact
James Randell
for more information on bike volunteers.
The orientation for
all other volunteers (swim, transition, food, run,
etc.) will be Friday night, September 19th, from
6:00pm to 6:30pm Lake Hefner, located
off Hefner Rd. on the West side of the Hefner
Parkway. All volunteers should come to Friday
night orientation (unless you are a bike volunteer
and attended the Light House session).

What time do I need to be at the event?
If you were given a
pre-determined time to volunteer, you will need to
arrive at the event at least 1 hr prior to that
start time. This will give you ample time to
park and get to where you need to be. If you
signed up on the web for a MORNING - AFTERNOON -
EVENING time frame just check in at the volunteer
tent and someone will place you.

Hefner, off Hefner Rd. on the West side of
the Hefner Parkway

I've never volunteered for an iron distance
triathlon. How will I know what to do?
This is why it is
EXTREMELY important that you attend orientation.
All of your questions will be answered. Just
ensure you speak to someone in a Red Man
triathlon shirt. We will go over items such as
the course map and how to properly manage traffic
and people.

How long
do I have to volunteer?
We very much appreciate
any and all time you can offer. Because of the
extended length of an event like this we really ask
for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours of service from each
person. If you can't commit that amount of
time, that's okay. We'll find a place for you
so come on out!

Where do I park my
car?
Parking for all volunteers and spectators will be at
Lakepoint Medical Plaza, off Hefner Rd. on the West
side of the Hefner Parkway. There will be
plenty of signs to point you the way. A
shuttle van will be available to get you to and from
the base area.

I
want to work the transition area. What can I
do?
The transition area
can be very busy. We need body markers and
transition bag volunteers, among others. The
transition volunteer can start as early as 05:00 on
race day and go well into the evening hours.

bags click here:
